due to the hand dyeing process all items have been washed to remove excess dye and are pre-shrunk. they have also been treated with a special fixative for wash fastness and resistance to fading. that being said sometimes, especially with darker colors, a little extra dye may release. it's always best to wash items separately the first few times.
for light rayon items: hand wash only, cold water + line dry
for rayon items: hand wash, cold water + line dry is the best option - you can machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold water + tumble dry low (but do so at your own risk - the dryer is not friendly to 100% woven rayon and eventually your item will begin to pill)
for cotton items: unless otherwise specified - machine wash, cold water + tumble dry low
for natural fiber blends: please see specific item for instructions - when in doubt, hand wash, cold water + line dry
note: these are general instructions, please see individual item descriptions for further information
